Practice Groups
Swimmers are divided into two primary practice groups based on age to ensure the best coaching environment. Athletic conditioning is also available for swimmers ages 11 and over.
10 & Under Group
This group builds a strong foundation in swimming. Practices focus on:
- Stroke technique and fundamentals
- Water safety and comfort
- Basic endurance
- Structured activities and swim-based games
The goal is to build confidence in the water while developing proper technique and good habits.
11 & Over Group
This group is for swimmers ready for a more structured and challenging program. Practices focus on:
- Refining stroke technique
- Building endurance and strength
- Race preparation and pacing
- Higher training intensity
Swimmers are encouraged to take ownership of their training and come ready to work each day.
Athletic Conditioning (11 & Over)
Athletic conditioning supports swim training by improving overall strength and fitness.
- Three focused training sessions per week
- Strength and conditioning development
- Improved endurance and athletic performance
This program helps swimmers stay strong, prevent injuries, and perform better in the water.
📍 Placement
Placement is generally based on age, but coaches may adjust groups based on ability, experience, and readiness.
Each swimmer is placed where they can grow safely, confidently, and at the right pace.
